Multiple Donor - CUTICLE FREE HAIR: This type of hair is 100% Natural Human Hair. It is collected from various sources and hence would have a mix of hair from multiple donors. The hair during processing has its cuticles (the outermost layer) removed making it tangle free. It is also known as Cuticle Free/Tangle Free hair in the market. The hair is coated with finishing agents to give it a silky smooth feel and wash durability. This hair type is the maximum seller in the retail market.
Single Donor CUTICLE INTACT REMY HAIR: It is also known as Temple hair and is 100% Natural Human Hair which has its cuticles intact and running in one direction (unidirectional - from root to tail). The hair can be bleached, dyed and styled. If needed, we also dye and style the hair at our end as per order specifications. The hair primarily is sourced from the temples of India where it is donated as an offering. The hair is auctioned by the temple authorities and the proceeds are used for humanitarian projects like building educational institutions , hospitals, etc. This type of hair is generally single drawn (tapered towards the bottom end). This grade of hair is further sorted to make bundles of Virgin Hair. It is the purest, most natural type of hair primarily sorted out from the Temple Remy Hair. All the salon dyed and salon processed hair is removed from the temple hair lot.
Remy hair is Natural Human Hair which has its cuticles intact and running in one direction (unidirectional - from root to tail). The word Remy a.k.a remi can be of two types namely, Virgin Remy and Normal Remy. The term Virgin is added when the hair has not undergone any chemical process for modifying the style, color, or cuticles other than shampooing and conditioning both before and after donation. The hair is called normal remy when the hair has cuticles intact and running in one direction but the hair has been styled or dyed either before or after donation.
Virgin Remy is a type of 100% natural Human Hair that has not undergone any chemical process for modifying the style, color, or cuticles other than shampooing and conditioning both before and after donation.
Tangle free hair is a type of Natural Human Hair in which the cuticles have been shaved off using a process. The primary reason that the hair tangles is due to the unaligned cuticles. Once the cuticles are removed from the hair the tendency of tangling is substantially reduced.
